Get your dive center operational in DiverDash within 30 minutes. This guide focuses on the essential tasks you need to complete immediately after onboarding to start managing your daily operations.

Prerequisites

Before starting this guide, ensure you have:

  • Completed the initial onboarding process (agency selection)

  • Access to your DiverDash dashboard

  • Your business information ready (contact details, tax info)

  • A list of current staff members and their roles

30-Minute Setup Checklist

⏱️ 5 Minutes: Complete Company Profile

  1. Navigate to Settings → Company → Details

  2. Add essential business information:

    • Complete business address

    • Phone number and email

    • Upload your company logo

    • Add business description

  3. Configure tax settings in the Tax tab:

    • Add tax ID numbers

    • Set default tax rates

    • Configure regional settings

⏱️ 10 Minutes: Set Up Your Team

  1. Go to Settings → Team → Users

  2. Add your key staff members:

    • Click + Add User

    • Enter email addresses

    • Assign roles:

      • Admin: Full system access

      • Manager: Operational management

      • User: Day-to-day operations

  3. Staff will receive email invitations to activate their accounts

⏱️ 5 Minutes: Review Your Courses

  1. Navigate to Diving & Trips → Course Products

  2. Review automatically added courses from your agency selection

  3. Quick course setup:

    • Verify course names and descriptions

    • Add pricing information

    • Set course duration

    • Mark active courses

⏱️ 10 Minutes: Add Essential Equipment

  1. Go to Rentals → Equipment

  2. Add your most rented items first:

    • BCDs (various sizes)

    • Regulators

    • Wetsuits (size ranges)

    • Masks, fins, snorkels

  3. For each item, set:

    • Rental rate per day

    • Equipment condition

    • Availability status

Adding a New Client

  1. Clients → Add Client

  2. Fill in basic information:

    • Name and contact details

    • Certification level

    • Emergency contact

  3. Save and assign to courses/trips as needed

Scheduling a Course

  1. Diving & Trips → Calendar (New)

  2. Click on desired date

  3. Select course type

  4. Add instructor and participants

  5. Set location and time

Troubleshooting Common Setup Issues
