The DiverDash Dashboard serves as your central hub, providing an overview of your dive center's key metrics and business performance. The dashboard displays essential information in an organized, easy-to-read format to help you monitor your operations at a glance.
What You'll Find on Your Dashboard
Business Snapshot
The main dashboard displays key business metrics in organized card sections:
Financial Metrics:
Monthly Revenue: Current month's financial performance
Total Revenue: Overall revenue tracking
Operational Metrics:
Total Dives: Count of diving activities and trends
Active Clients: Current customer count and engagement
Enrolled Students: Students currently in courses
Equipment Utilization: Rental equipment usage rates
Course & Education Metrics:
Certifications (Year to Date): Number of certifications issued
Course Completion Rate: Percentage of successfully completed courses
Student Progress: Overview of current course enrollments
Onboarding Checklist
A checklist icon appears in the top-right corner of your dashboard, showing a badge with the number of remaining setup tasks. Click this icon to view your setup progress:
Select Primary Agency - Choose your diving certification agency (completed during initial setup)
Review/Add Courses - Verify and customize your course catalog
Add Equipment - Set up rental equipment inventory
Configure Company Settings - Complete business profile and payment setup
Invite Staff Members - Add team members and assign roles
The checklist automatically updates as you complete each task and disappears once all items are finished.
Welcome Banner
After completing the initial agency onboarding, you'll see a personalized welcome banner that includes:
A greeting with your name
Information about pre-added courses based on your selected agency
Quick action links to:
Add your first staff member
Review your courses
Add equipment inventory
The banner can be dismissed and will automatically hide after initial viewing.

The dashboard includes charts and analytics showing:
Activity Charts:
Weekly Dive Activity: Line chart showing dives and depth metrics over time
Dive Metrics: Progress bars showing average depth, total dive time, and client satisfaction
Equipment Analytics:
Equipment Utilization: Overall utilization percentage with breakdowns by equipment type (tanks, regulators, BCDs, wetsuits)
Usage trends: Visual representation of equipment rental patterns
Popular Locations:
Top Dive Locations: Table showing most frequented dive spots and trip counts
Client Retention: Analytics on customer return rates and engagement

Current Limitations
The dashboard currently provides:
Fixed Layout: The dashboard layout and metrics are not customizable
Standard Metrics: Displays a predefined set of business metrics
No Quick Actions: Direct action buttons are not available on the main dashboard
View-Only: The dashboard is primarily for viewing information rather than performing actions
