Calendar & Scheduling
Summary: View and manage your schedule using Day/Week/Month calendar views, create events, and keep courses and dives organized.

Step-by-step
Navigate the calendar
Header controls: Today, Previous, Next, date picker.
Views: Day, Week, Month (Month may show “not yet implemented”).
The header shows the current date or “Week of …”.
Create events
From the planner, open the event creation flow and choose event type:
Course: pick Course (from catalog), optionally Instructor.
Dive: set Dive Site, optional Max Depth and Max Participants.
Regular: general event with Title/Date/Times/Location/Notes.
Set Title, Date, Start/End time, Location, Notes; All-day optional.
Submit to create the event and refresh the calendar.
Manage course instances and sessions
Use the Dive Planner to load Course Instances (Active/Scheduled/Completed) and their sessions.
Sessions reflect morning/afternoon defaults if generated.
If Google Calendar is connected, sessions can sync to your calendar.
Inspect and edit events
Click an event card to view Time, Location, Type, and Staff.
Click Edit to open the edit modal; Save updates and closes it.
Filter and plan
Switch Day/Week/Month to change granularity.
Use the date picker to jump to a target date.
Results & Where to Verify
New/updated events appear in the Planner’s Day/Week/Month views.
Course instances and sessions appear in the Dive Planner; Google Calendar shows synced sessions where enabled.

Troubleshooting
Month view message: “Month view not yet implemented” indicates limited functionality; use Day/Week.
Missing events: check filters/date; ensure you have company access and data.
Calendar sync issues: verify Google Calendar connection in settings.
