Business Snapshot
A high-level view of your dive center's key performance indicators and operational health.
The business snapshot occupies the top section of your dashboard and provides at-a-glance metrics across activities, clients, revenue, and equipment.
Prerequisites
You must be logged in with an active account.
Monthly Revenue requires finance view permissions.
Overview
The business snapshot is divided into two areas: the KPI cards row and the detailed metric panels below it. Together, they give you a quick health check of your operations without navigating away from the dashboard.
KPI Cards
The top row displays four cards summarizing your most important metrics.
Total Activities
Shows the combined number of courses and trips scheduled this month. A growth percentage compares the current month to the previous month.
Active Clients
Displays the total number of active clients. The card splits this figure into new and returning clients so you can gauge client acquisition versus retention.
Monthly Revenue
Shows current month revenue with a month-over-month growth indicator. This card is only visible if you have finance view permissions.
Equipment Utilization
Displays the percentage of equipment currently rented versus available. This helps you understand inventory demand at a glance.
Overall Info Card
Below the KPI row, a dark-themed summary card consolidates broader operational data:
Total Activities -- Combined courses and trips.
Active Clients -- Currently engaged clients.
Enrolled Students -- Students currently enrolled in courses.
Rentals in Progress -- Active equipment rentals.
Certifications This Year -- Total certifications issued in the current calendar year.
Operational Metrics
A set of metrics focused on course and scheduling efficiency:
Course Completion Rate
Percentage of started courses that reached completion.
Average Class Size
Mean number of students per course instance.
Capacity Utilization
Percentage of available course/trip slots that are filled.
Booking Growth
Month-over-month change in bookings.
Tips
Use the growth percentages to spot trends early. A declining Total Activities count may signal a need for marketing.
Compare Active Clients new versus returning ratio to evaluate your retention strategy.
Equipment Utilization above 80% may indicate you need to expand inventory.
Check Certifications This Year to track annual training output for reporting.
